The Worldwide Missionary Movement is a work iniciated by God; it is a work of faith, that is to say, it moves on throughout the entire world with men and women who depend on God's direction and his support. God revealed the name of this work to His servant, Rev. Luis M. Ortiz, who was the founder; and in 1963, it was oficially founded as the Worldwide Missionary Movement, in the island of Puerto Rico.

It is a work of biblical foundation, because we are firmly rooted in the Word of God; we are not moved by the winds of false doctrines that seem to be firm, nor by interpretations of living with the world, the flesh and the sin. Though the winds of continuous heresies blow, and the rivers of capricious interpretations grow, this work will remain on the unshakeable rock of God's Word.

This is a work of action, with a missionary and worldwide vision. The reason of this movement is the action of the Holy Spirit with its gifts and fruits, operating through men and women with a clear and wide vision of the lost souls' needs; with a recognized spirit of faith and sacrifice and a pure testimony, who following the example of the greatest missionary, our Lord Jesus Christ, place on a second level any material, personal, religious and denominational interest, to confer the first place to the supreme interest: The fulfillment of the Great Commission, the evangelization of the world.

The Church of the Worldwide Missionary Movement has been raised by God as a shelter for these times of apostasy, diabolic doctrines, false teachings, false apostles and prophets, as well as heresies which tend to create confusion on the souls who are hungry of the Word of God: "The Holy Bible".

It's a work of faith and needs your prayer, intercession and cooperation, because as it grows, so does its necessities and demands; it is poor in material goods, but full of heavenly provision. This work entirely depends on God and on the tithes and offerings established in the Bible for its support; He relies on you and me.
